we had a memorable stay at dale thorpe for a couple of nights with kids. Good location, clean rooms and toilet, very hospitable host - Shaheed and Biju. Nice food and home like atmosphere. keep up the good work. will definitely come back. :!cool:

We stayed in Dalethorpe for 3-4 days and felt very very comfortable, almost like home, very neat ambiance and clean rooms and facilities of top class, food is of high class and quality and always hot hot !!!
Mr.Saheed was just like one of our family memeber helping us to the core and excellence...hard to find such service and person as a whole.
There may be many to describe about the stay in Dalthorpe, but this can be felt on if you all come and stay there and feel the same by yourself...
Never make a second thought, Dalethorpe is the best place to stay in Kodaikanal for all type of people let it be Single/ couple/ family/ corporate....
I would recommend this place to all new persons and to our foreign visitors also.
Enjoy your days with Dalethorpe !!!

This was my third visit to Kodaikanal and the first with my wife and child. We booked the cottage at the Dalethrope and it was a very pleasant experiance.The place is very close to the lake yet very quiet and peaceful. The place was very clean and the staff are very helpful.

I was in Dale Thorpe from 25th Aug 2010 to 27th with my family. It is nice place to stay. Excellant ambiance, good food, neat and clean and super service from the team . We really fealt at home. Even my kids aged 6 and 3 really have a good time playing out in the compound...

Who want to plan a vacation in Kodai, try this place for your stay....

I would rate Dalethorpe as a very neatly maintained boutique homestay. Shaheed is exceptional in handling our needs. We stayed there for 2 nights and were extremely delighted with the hospitality. Food was awesome and for every minute of our stay, we felt at home.

From what I have heard and seen, Dalethorpe is a very hospitable retreat far from the "madding crowd", in the sylvan valleys of Kodai.

I was at Dalethorpe from 12-14 Dec 09. It is very lovely place. Mr Shaheed and his team is doing nice. room was good, food was nice, the place is very good to stay
