I stayed here for 3 days from 02 - 05 may 12 . The stay was a very pleassant one, good rooms and the fire place was the best one. Food was okay (home made).
The best part was the owner Shaheed who made the complete stay wonderful. A very cheerful person and helpful. A place must stay in kodai.

We stayed there in last October. Dale thorpe is a good place to stay with reasonable tariffs. Nothing wow..but a decent place. Shaheed was so friendly and good location. Keep up the good-work team Dale thorpe !!

I n my hubby had a great time here . We stayed in the independent cottage in Dalethorpe and were pleasantly surprised by the loveliness of the room- large spacious ,neat n warm in chilling kodai weather . A mini fire place was a prefect companion . Food was nice, home made food and you can specify what you need they will cook for you. Its was a very pleasent stay. We are back with memories to cherish for ever. Thank u .... Dalethorpe Homestay. We would love to visit again.

Dalethorpe is an excellent place to stay. My family and myself visited Kodai during June 6-9th, 2012 and decided to stay at Dalethorpe. This was my first stay at this place and I must say that I was not at all disappointed. Food was great, service was good, place was very comfortable with nice spacious rooms, Shaheed was hospitable with enough suggestion how to enjoy and what to avoid during our 3 night stay. Highly recommended for homely atmosphere. Thanks Shaheed for making our holidays so memorable.

Poor staf... food is not at all good... very poor maintinance, uncleaned rooms & beds... I would suggest not to go here

i just love kaodaikanal n dalethorpe also we went for our honeymoon for week days n awesome food n amazing accomidation i really enjoyed every moment i spent there n i want to visit as many times i can kodaikanal is a heaven on earth n when ever i visit kodaikanal i will stay at dalethorpe only thank shaheed for everything

I stayed here with my family for 2 nights and 3 days from 18th March to 20th March 2012. It’s near Kodai Fire Station .Which is good - walk able into town and being away from noise. This is a top notch hotel to stay in Kodai and a decent value for money. The rooms are excellent, comfortable, well maintained though there are very few rooms. The staff’s ( Mr. Rajan, Mr. Francis, Mr. Chinraj ) are very friendly and very inviting. They always dealt with requests promptly and curiously. The food is excellent. Lovely nature and lawn around, with lots of flowers and birds. The location of this hotel gives very good views. This place is very peaceful and serene, has a lot of greenery around hotel. We had tea-time sit-out just outside the room. This provides for a lovely evening with the family in this cool hill-station. There is place for outdoor games to play like shuttle, cricket indoor games also available like carom, chess and etc. My family enjoyed lot. Had a very good time.

I stayed in the Independent Cottage. It was really a pleasant stay where i enjoyed the every minutes of time along with my Wife. And when comes to the level of service, it's simply superb.
